just as there is route to everywhere worth going, and  a key to very door, so also there are keys to discovering ones purpose in life. frome personal experence and research, i had come to discover three major keys to discovering ones purpose in life. the are
passion
ability
capability

PASSION: passion in this context means job/work, profession, discipline or course which you have always felt passionate about, or which you have always had love for. if you sincerely search through your mind, you will discover that, from the time you were very young, there has always been a profession you cherished so much, therefore, your passion is that profession or work you have love for.

ABILITY: your ability are those things you know within yourself that you can do even when you have not actually acquired the skills or knowledge.

CAPABILITY: your capabilities are those things you have what it takes to achieve e.g your resources etc. though your capability may not be your purpose, yet it must be given a serious consideration. it might be a good start for your journey towards finding your purpose.
so, stop looking for what you do not have, try to develop what you have and then use it to get what you do not have and what you need.
